Why should job seekers document their process?
As job applications in 2025 require longer timelines and their scale is more complex than ever, job seekers use many tools to apply, leaving their open applications in many platforms
What are the constrains of such problem?
Its addressing a will to document a specific task and timeline, which a user could pick up/down at any given moment.
How many users apply for jobs online each month?
In the US alone, live 340 million people. Among them, 93% are online. 12M look for a job in any given month. Assuming that the 12M are a representation of the entire population, 93% of 12M is 11.1M. Knowing that Linkedin, the leading job search platform is serving 250M american users, we can assume that 11M out of those 250M job search online each month. Which means that the rest of them, 239M, are not job searching online in a given month.

documentation: Gmail for application approval, Linkedin, Facebook, X, Whatsapp and Slack for Social Media networking and continious stages of interview and HR connections. Meanwhile, using Monday, Notion, Trello, Jira, Google Docs for writing actinable tasks related to a given application stage.
I would divide the online job applicants to active users who job search on a daily basis, active users who job search casually/while being employed, and those who job search once in a while, just to check how the market is doing

This is the first time Jane is looking for a job in tech. She used to work at a local pizza hut, she resigned now that she graduated. When job searching online, She is scattered between different tools like google docs, Linkedin saved feature and her Iphone notes app.

She sent so many job applications with her email but lost track of them after having more emails from university and advertisements.

Daniel is undercover looking for a new position after climbing the work ladder at an Israeli cyber company, and relocating to New Jersey. Having been promoted and relocated for it, he feels like he should keep the job search as a secret from his direct manager.
Through his 8 years working there, he is attempting to find another position for the first time, and struggling with the process of applying.
Daniel is confused about tracking where is he at, for example, he once called a recruiter to asked about a review of his home assignment, which he was already told over the phone a week before that it was dismissed. his wife stresses him to push his search harder.
